SHADOW & LIGHT PROJECT

Nine eleventh graders from a former township in Free State, South Africa, re-imagined their futures and rewrote their stories, breaking patterns and creating visionary future orientations. Shadow&Light Project engaged students who returned to the University of the Free State a year following their first experience with Digital Storytelling.

Facilitated by Jode Brexa, Betsey Coleman and Alexandre Brexa Hooson and funded through a Fulbright Alumni Grant, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Department of State.

AUDIENCE:  Digital Stories from the Shadow&Light project were shown to 200 attendees at an Our Voice, Our Journey panel presentation hosted by Ananta India at the American Center, Kolkata,April, 2016.
