Local and international communities are enriched in remembering that America is a country composed of citizens with unique pasts and unique points of view.  Fifteen culturally and linguistically diverse students new to the United States narrated the stories that brought them into the American experience.

Facilitated by Jode Brexa and Max Nealon and funded by a Teaching Excellence and Achievement Alumni Grant, Bureau of  Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State.

AUDIENCE:  Newcomers shared their work at a student showcase at the University ofColorado. A City Planning Board member who attended invited them to showcase their videos at a Boulder City Council meeting bringing youth voice to city planning.
