A focused weekend to transform your personal writing into a creative digital story.

Imagine a weekend dedicated entirely to your story — a chance to return to that unfinished draft or buried idea and shape it into a vivid, personal short video that speaks in your own voice and imagery.

This is an immersive storytelling intensive designed to help you unlock your creativity, connect deeply with your narrative, and share your work in a supportive, community-held space. Whether you’re brand new to digital tools or have some experience, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process. No prior tech skills are required — just a story and a willingness to explore.

We begin Friday evening, gathering as a group or one-to-one to reconnect with the writing you’ve brought. The focus is rediscovery–revisiting your draft and identifying the moment that matters.

You’ll have quiet time to reflect, followed by a story circle where you can share in a space held with care and respect. Before we close the night, you’ll have the option to meet one-on-one with the facilitator for personal guidance. You’ll also be invited to begin collecting photos, videos, or other visuals connected to your story — though there’s no pressure to have everything ready. We’ll explore creative options together throughout the weekend.

Saturday begins with a hands-on introduction to a simple video editing platform. With plenty of support, you’ll start shaping your story: refining your script, recording your voice, and combining it with your images. The day is spacious and creative, with time to build, explore, and get comfortable with the tools. In the evening, optional one-on-one sessions are available if you want additional help or feedback.

By Sunday morning, you’ll be putting the final touches on your digital story. Once your video is exported, we’ll gather for a relaxed group screening of each others’ work and to reflect on the creative journey. We’ll end the weekend celebrating what’s been created — and imagining where your story might go next.
